Batch planning questions

How is dilution calculated?

Water equals the full undiluted recipe volume multiplied by your dilution percentage. This includes juice, syrup and ingredients added at service, even for a zero-alcohol recipe. The 27% shaken, 22% stirred and 0% built presets are adjustable planning assumptions; actual ice melt and taste vary.

How does the shopping list work?

Each ingredient has an editable liquid pack size. Matching names with the same category, ABV and pack size are grouped, then the total need is rounded up to whole packs. Leftover is purchased liquid minus recipe need. The plan starts with no stock on hand.

What should I add at service?

Mark sparkling mixers, sparkling wine or other ingredients you want to keep separate as “Add at service.” They remain in the shopping list and total served volume, but are separated from the batch base in the recipe and service instructions.

What is included in the PDF?

Your recipe name, serving count, scaled liquid recipe, dilution water, grouped shopping list, service instructions, assumptions and notes. Choose A4 or US Letter and download the PDF directly. Ice and garnish are left for you to plan separately.
